HUNGRY FOR GOD: NURTURING CHRISTIAN DISCIPLINES - preaching series
Starting 11 March, here's an insight from David Watson's book 'Discipleship' as to why we are doing this vital series:
"The vast majority of western Christians are church-members, pew-fillers, hymn-singers, sermon-tasters, Bible-readers, even born-again-believers or Spirit-filled-charismatics - but not true disciples of Jesus. If we were willing to learn the meaning of real discipleship and actually to become disciples, the church in the West would be transformed, and the resultant impact on society would be staggering."
MISSIONS SUNDAY - Sunday, 6 May
We'll be getting an update from the missions board during the 8:45 and 10:30 services. A special offering to give directly to missions efforts will be taken so don't forget!
MOTHERS' DAY - Sunday, 13 May
It's that time again folks - let's show we appreciate our mums! What better way to celebrate motherhood than joining us at PCC. Paul reminds us in Ephesians that honouring our fathers and mothers is the first commandment with a promise. Join us - 8:45 and 10:30am.
COMPELLED - Sunday 20 May from 1pm
Our Compelled Outreach returns for May - join us as we witness for Jesus in word and in deed.
FOODCARE INDUCTION - Sunday 20 May from 1pm

PASTOR MICHAEL IN THE PHILIPPINES - 24 May to 5 June
Please keep Michael in your prayers, church! Michael will head back to Oriental Mindoro along with Gracing and Luz. Please keep praying for the Philippines mission.
FELLOWSHIP LUNCH - Sunday, 27 May
Immediately following our 10:30 service we will enjoy our usual multicultural lunch together as well as taking communion around the dinner table. Please feel free to bring along a plate of your favourite food - see you there! Please note there is NO 8:45am service that Sunday.
