WHAT IS PARTNERSHIP?

Going to church is more than a group of people coming together for a common cause. We believe that each individual that comes to the church is actually a member or a partner of the church and a partner in the work of God's kingdom - and therefore is a vital part of the church. In addition we want partners of PCC to feel comfortable with the values of our church, and to understand the direction in which it is heading.

Partnership allows us to be a part of the church and is a great springboard to serve God and others in the life of our church.

WHAT AM I COMMITTING TO?

The partnership covenant is a simple four-fold commitment.

Having received Christ as my Lord and Saviour and been baptised, and being in agreement with the vision and values at PCC, I now feel led by the Holy Spirit to unite with this church family. In doing so, I commit myself to God and to the other members to do the following:

• I will SAFEGUARD the unity of my church...
  • by acting in love towards other members
  • by refusing to gossip
  • by following Biblical leadership
• I will SHARE the responsibility of my church...
  • by praying for its growth
  • by inviting the unchurched to attend
  • by welcoming those who visit
• I will SERVE the ministry of my church...
• by discovering my Spiritual gifts and personal talents
• by being equipped to serve by my pastors
• by developing a servant's heart
• I will SUPPORT the testimony of my church...
  • by attending faithfully
  • by living a Godly life
  • by giving generously

Please be aware these are not possible in our human strength but something that God enables us to be and to work towards. We are not perfect! But we are, by the grace of God, working towards this covenant being real in our lives and in our church.

I WANT TO BECOME A PARTNER OF PCC! BUT HOW?
