WHO IS COMPASSION?

Compassion is an international Christian child development and child advocacy ministry committed to working in partnership with local churches to foster the spiritual, economic, social, physical and emotional development of children living in extreme poverty in over 25 developing countries. Compassion’s ministry to children is distinctly Christian. Our child development programs are unique in that they are: Christ-centred, child-focused and church-based. By linking with the church in different parts of the world, child sponsorship helps to release children from poverty in Jesus name

WHAT CAN WE DO?

What you may not be aware of is that Compassion also provides the opportunity for church partnership. Not only can individuals sponsor children, but churches can come together and as one body, partner with Compassion to sponsor children in a particular country or region. Now - more than ever before - churches can work as one to bring practical help and care to parts of the world that need it more than most other parts of the world, while at the same time spreading the message of the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ.
